When I started sharing my own songs something amazing started to happen. People I hadn’t talked to in years would reappear in my life and we would discover new connection points - often centered on music and creativity. The most productive of these reconnections has been with my friend Colby. We were in a high school band together but had fallen out of touch. About a year ago Colby reached out to me with some song ideas and we started writing together. It’s been so much fun, and the results speak for themselves. Drive is a lockdown song. We wrote it sending emails of notes, lyric ideas, demos, and audio snippets back and forth and it all came together into a song we absolutely love. I hope you like it too, please let me know what you think!
